I've never really read much Mad magazine, but if you keep up with the wiles of the world you can definitely appreciate the fold-ins feature of artist Al Jaffee. The New York Times has an interactive feature of the fold-ins from past and present. Pretty neat, it's worthy of your click.

fuckin' love love love MAD magazine. still read it. it's gross and always will be. definitely a quality dip once they switched to color/started printing ads, but whatever. if you like al jaffee, check out sergio aragones: http://www.collectingfool.com/published/aragones-mad199-marginals2.jpg
his drawings have appeared in every issue of MAD since the 1960s. they can be thought of as cheeky or trite, but i like their simplicity and pantomime-esque charm.
